Job summary

Sinai Hospital’s Orthopedic Unit is a 50-bed acute care unit partnering with the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics for pre- and post-surgical care. The role provides clinical support under physician supervision, helping with examinations, treatments, and patient care in a collaborative team.

Staff development includes telemetry, stroke, and trauma training to broaden orthopedic skills. With a focus on patient-centered care, the position emphasizes contributing to efficient operations

Job description

Sinai Hospital's Orthopedic Unit is a 50-bed acute care medical/surgical unit that partners closely with the Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics for pre- and post-surgical care. Professional development includes telemetry classes, stroke training, and trauma courses, giving nurses room to build skills across orthopedics and beyond.

8-bed stroke center

8-bed joint and spine center

4-bed close observation area

Summary:

Under direct supervision of physician, performs a variety of clinical responsibilities to assist in the examination and treatment of patients. Performs other functions to support hospital and departmental requirements. Works proactively and in partnership with other staff contributing to effective operations. Delivers service in conjunction with the hospital's customer service standards and expectations.

$16.00 to $27.29 Based On Experience
