Qualified candidates hold a Surgical Tech Diploma, CST certification, and BLS CPR.

Job description

The Specialty Surgical Tech within Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO) at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD provides surgical services: Orthopedics-trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation and replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO, the Specialty Surgical Tech provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Qualifications:

Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test), American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification, Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist - already obtained.

Pay Range: $24.46 to $41.85 Based On Experience
