Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, a part of LifeBridge Health, seeks a Specialty Surgical Tech for the Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedic (RIAO) in Baltimore, MD. You will provide technical assistance to surgeons during orthopedic procedures and support patient care under RN supervision, contributing to a culture focused on safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold a Surgical Tech Diploma, CST certification, and BLS CPR.

The Specialty Surgical Tech within Ruben Institute of Advanced Orthopedics (RIAO) at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD provides surgical services: Orthopedics-trauma, limb lengthening, limb deformity, bone infections/tumors, joint preservation and replacement, pediatric orthopedics, and foot & ankle.

Responsibilities:

As a member of the surgical team in the RIAO, the Specialty Surgical Tech provides technical assistance to the surgeon/physician during surgical intervention under the supervision of the RN. When not directly assisting the physician in a procedure, may participate in the rendering of patient care under the direction of the Clinical Leader/Charge Nurse or Registered Nurse. Unified by the core purpose of creating a healthier community one person at a time, the members of the Division of Patient Care Services commit themselves to sustaining a culture focused on achieving optimal patient outcomes. Qualifications:

Surgical Tech Diploma (must pass Diploma/graduation test), American Heart Association Basic Life Support BLS CPR Certification, Accredited Surgical Technology Course Certificate CST - Certified Surgical Technologist - already obtained.

Pay Range: $24.46 to $41.85 Based On Experience
