Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Behavioral Health or Social Services.
• Registered or eligible for Virginia Board of Counseling registry (LMHP).
• Meets Virginia State criteria for LMHP/LMHP-E.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation of healthcare management services per regulatory standards (DBHDS, state and federal).
• Mentor team on practice standards, quality of interventions, problem resolution and critical thinking.
• Complete intakes, assessments, treatment plans, service authorizations; assign staff to clients.
• Monitor best-practice approaches across the continuum of care to address member needs.
• Develop or assist in training content and deliver internal training sessions.
• Protect confidentiality of member information and adhere to policies.
• Maintain documentation for clients (assessments, authorizations, continued stays).
• Travel frequently to hospitals and facilities to assess new clients.
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance.
