Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Technical Applications Specialist to deliver advanced clinical/technical support, install and validate DX instruments, and train end users. The role involves on-site education, demonstrations for sales, and collaboration to improve customer workflows across diverse healthcare settings.

Travel is required as part of on-site support and customer engagements, with a focus on maintaining high satisfaction and compliance with safety and quality protocols.

Qualifications

• MLT/ART or B.Sc. in Medical Technology; CSMLS or equivalent
• Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Practices and Procedures
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for assay, software and instrument troubleshooting
• Install and validate Siemens DX instruments and systems
• On-site education and turnover training for end users
• Demonstrations at conventions and trade shows to support sales
• Coordinate system evaluations and assist in workflow improvements
• Ensure documentation and compliance with safety and quality policies
