Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist to provide on-site and remote training for Varian Medical System equipment, ensuring safe and effective use. The role involves coordinating customer training, managing expectations, and supporting sales, marketing and engineering with product knowledge.

The position requires travel up to 75–100% and adherence to vendor credentialing for client site access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience or equivalent 3 years in position. Enrollment in Varian approved Development Program.
• Proficient in remote training tools and business software (Microsoft Office, Salesforce, ServiceMax, Qlikview, LMS).
• Meets vendor credentialing requirements for client access where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical training to customers on-site and remotely for Varian Medical System equipment.
• Assist in managing customer clinical expectations.
• Lead or coordinate customer and employee training courses as available.
• Conduct large group presentations at seminars and training events.
• Provide demo support at local, regional and national events.
• Develop quick tips, workbooks, videos and implementation guides.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize services and customer relations.
• Meet vendor credentialing requirements to gain client site access where required.
