Description
Summary
The Clinical Application Specialist is responsible for providing technical and sales support for ARKRAY clinical laboratory products. Technical support includes delivering operator training at customer facilities, providing on-site instrument implementation assistance, technical liaison, and support sales team efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate onsite customer training of new equipment.
- Effectively manages instrument implementations projects; assisting customers to perform instrument verification studies. Analyze verification study data and prepare statistical reports. Present verification data to the customer.
- Complete required documentation according to policies and procedures.
- Work with internal resources and the customer to resolve technical issues. This includes escalating complaints received from the customer to Technical Support, providing all required data and activities following ARKRAY’s escalation and complaint handling procedures.
- Provide pre and post-sale technical support as needed, including product demonstrations.
- Ensure new instrument implementations are completed to meet timeline, budget, and customer satisfaction goals.
- Maintain customer satisfaction.
- Understand organizational goals and execute strategy with defined action plans.
- Demonstrate effective working relationships with external and internal customers.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree in healthcare related field, Medical Laboratory Science strongly preferred with current certification.
- 3 years’ experience in a clinical laboratory, field experience preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong technical background in flow cytometry, hematology, or urinalysis preferred
- Knowledge of laboratory regulations
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently in an unstructured environment
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite, Service Based Software, CRM, and EP Evaluator
- The position requires extensive travel in the United States
- Must reside near a major airport
