Parkland Health is seeking a Day Shift Full Time Patient Transport Associate to support patient movement, supply transport, and environmental cleanliness. The role requires maintaining safety and comfort for patients, visitors, and staff across hospital areas.

Responsibilities include transporting patients and specimens, restocking equipment, and ensuring a sanitary workplace. Heartsaver CPR within 90 days is required; prior healthcare experience preferred.

Competenze

• One year of experience in a healthcare or related institutional setting preferred.
• Must have Heartsaver CPR within 90 days of hire and/or placement in job.
• Ability to transport patients and supplies while maintaining safety and sanitation.

Mansioni

• Transports patients to departments to aid safety and comfort.
• Transports lab specimens and other items as needed within the organization.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the environment for all users.
• Prepares and restocks equipment in clinic, procedural and inpatient rooms.
• Works with unit staff to support patient safety and care activities.
