Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Product Line Lead for Clinical & Agentic AI to own the strategy, roadmap and success metrics for the clinical and agentic AI product line. The role involves guiding product owners, coordinating with engineering, and ensuring governance and value delivery across stages from concept to production in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

Master's degree or PhD in life sciences, data science, computer science, engineering or a related field.
10+ years of experience in product management or product leadership, including leading other product owners or managers.
Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated healthcare technology settings.
Track record of taking a product from proof of concept to validated production use in a regulated environment.
Working knowledge of clinical development or clinical operations processes such as site monitoring and clinical data review.
Familiarity with agentic and LLM-based products and with evaluating their quality and risk.
Understanding of GxP computerised system validation and data privacy requirements.
Experience managing budgets and outsourced delivery partners.
Proven ability to make and communicate prioritisation decisions across senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define and own the product line strategy, roadmap and success measures.
Lead and enable Product Owners and Delivery teams.
Collaborate with engineering and external partners to clear blockers and manage dependencies.
Set operating rhythm for planning, reviews and stage gates to scale delivery.
Translate clinical operations needs into product requirements and measurable outcomes.
