Job summary

Keck Medicine of USC is seeking a Clinical Administrative Supervisor to oversee nursing resources, communicate with leadership, and drive safe, efficient patient care in the absence of department directors. You will coordinate staffing, coach staff, and participate in problem-solving to resolve care events.

Requirements include a BSN with RN licensure in California, 3–5 years nursing experience, ACLS/BLS, CPI, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Master's degree preferred or in progress; may substitute for experience.
• 3–5 years nursing experience.
• 1 year management experience preferred.
• 2 years experience as Clinical Administrative Supervisor or similar.
• Experience in acute care or ICU preferred.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organizes and prioritizes work efficiently.
• RN license in CA.
• CPR/CPI compliance and clinical certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Manages nursing resources to support recovery per care plan.
• Maintains open communication to meet USC mission and priorities.
• Safety, patient satisfaction, and fiscal responsibility guide staffing decisions.
• Coordinates staffing needs and reports significant events through chain of command.
• Role models and coaches staff to develop clinical and leadership skills.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)

Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

Registered Nurse - RN (CA Board of Registered Nursing)

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Fire Life Safety Training (LA City)

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (CPI)

Certification in Job Relevant Clinical certification
