Job summary

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in a medical office or clinic setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and patient registration processes.
• Strong interpersonal skills with diverse patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms and prepare for examinations.
• Take and record vitals, medical and medication histories, and update records.
• Document information accurately in the EMR and forward records as needed.
• Assist providers and nursing staff during examinations and procedures.
• Schedule appointments, process referrals, and handle registrations.
• Maintain rooms, equipment and supplies, and ensure patient-centered care.
