Job summary

Qualifications

• Active BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registered or Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse in Michigan.
• Combination of education and experience as deemed appropriate by HR and ABR-OE upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, measure vitals and record histories.
• Prepare patients for examination/procedure and maintain patient flow.
• Document medical information in EMR and route records as needed.
• Assist provider and nursing staff as directed and implement orders safely.
• Handle administrative tasks: scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, registrations.
