Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Medical Assistant to perform both administrative and clinical tasks in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include taking vital signs, preparing exam rooms, drawing blood, and performing pulmonary function testing and ECG uploads for official readings.

You will also handle check-in/out, order entry, chart review, phone support, and clinic flow management. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication, strong attention to detail, basic medical terminology

Qualifications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with claimants effectively
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate claimant record review
Basic understanding of medical terminology
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Proficiency with computer systems for electronic medical records (EMR)
Ability to follow established medical protocols and safety guidelines
Up-to-date BLS certification

Responsibilities

Clinical duties: Take vital signs (blood pressure and pulse) and prepare claimant for examination; draw blood for lab tests; perform Pulmonary Function Testing and Electrocardiogram uploads for reading.
Administrative duties: Check-in/Check-out claimants; order entry for diagnostic testing; review medical records; answer calls and greet claimants; manage clinic flow; maintain supplies.
