Job summary

Enabli Health is seeking a Clinical Administrative Assistant to support patient flow, scheduling, and billing in a healthcare setting. You will work with clinicians and administrative staff to ensure smooth visits and accurate documentation.

No prior clinical experience required; paid training through our program is provided. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with comprehensive benefits for full-time staff.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain efficient patient flow.
  • Ensure proper preparations for patient visits.
  • Prepare information needed for patient visits.
  • Schedule appointments and answer phones.
  • Triage phone calls and coordinate between teams.
  • Verify insurance, eligibility, and authorizations.
  • Collect copays and explain payment policies.
  • Enter and update patient demographics.
  • Manage physicians’ calendars and CVs.
  • Monitor licensure and renewals for assigned faculty.
  • Coordinate travel, events, and purchasing requests.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and open/close the practice.

Clinical Administrative Assistant is a vital, hands‑on member of the care team who works directly with patients and providers in clinics, hospitals, and specialty practices. This is the fastest, most respected way to gain paid, patient‑facing clinical experience before medical, nursing, or PA school: you’ll log hundreds of hours of direct patient contact, master clinical skills that admissions committees love, build strong letters of recommendation from physicians and nurses who work with you daily, and discover firsthand whether the clinical side of healthcare is your calling.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain efficient patient flow
  • Ensures proper preparations for patient visit
  • Prepare pertinent information needed for patient visits
  • Schedule appointments
  • Answers phones, triage phone calls
  • Communicate between administrative team, clinical staff, and providers diagnostic staff, patient assistant team, security staff, and providers
  • Provide and explain required forms and paperwork required at check in
  • Verify active insurance, in/out of network eligibility, and authorizations
  • Collect copays, coinsurance, and outstanding balances
  • Adhere to and explain financial policy to patients as needed
  • Verifiy, enter, and update patient demographic information
  • Connect patients with delinquent accounts to patient representatives to set up financial agreements and answer billing questions
  • Manage physicians’ calendars, scheduling meetings
  • Maintain and update physicians CVs
  • Assist in monitoring expiration dates related to licensure, certifications, dues, and subscription renewals for assigned faculty
  • Coordinate business travel arrangements, manage itineraries, registration to conferences, etc
  • Coordinate and facilitate specialized activities, events, and projects
  • Initiate purchasing requests for food, supplies, or equipment as needed
  • Keep management informed of high‑risk situations
  • Maintain HIPAA
  • Open/close the practice for the day

What You’ll Need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Proof of vaccinations (may be required)
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Strong listening and communication skills
  • Flexible schedule availability
  • Ability to stand, sit, and use a computer for several hours a day
  • Access to a laptop (you’ll be provided one after training but need your own for training)
