Job summary

City of Hope in Duarte, CA seeks a Supervisor to oversee the clinical administrative Pathology staff and daily operations. You will train, hire/term, coach, and performance-manage direct reports while partnering with leadership on process improvements.

The role requires 6 years of general administrative experience, 1–2 years in a lead role, and preferably pathology background. Salary ranges from $75,179 to $125,559, with full-time exempt status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or High school diploma plus equivalent experience.
• 6 years of general administrative experience, preferably in an academic or healthcare setting.
• 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Pathology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day activities of the clinical administrative office.
• Serve as a liaison between directors, managers, and clinical staff.
• Manage and provide oversight to the clinical administrative employees.
• Plan, organize and prioritize special projects.
• Compile, compute, summarize & analyze data for special reports.
• Mentor, coach and performance manage employees.
• Diligently review departmental operational workflow and processes to identify opportunities for continued improvement and efficiencies.
• Help lead onboarding and offboarding of clinical support staff alongside leadership.
