Job summary

Ridgeview-2 in Minnesota is seeking a part-time registered nurse to provide professional nursing care within a clinic setting and to facilitate patient/physician communication and care coordination.

Responsibilities include taking vitals, documenting in the EMR, administering medications and vaccines, preparing equipment, and assisting providers during exams. A Minnesota RN license and at least 1 year of clinical experience are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a School of Nursing
• 1 year of experience in a clinical setting
• Current professional nurse licensure in Minnesota

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to examination rooms and obtain vitals and histories, documenting in EMR
• Perform telephone assessment of patient condition and determine treatment under provider supervision
• Administer prescribed medications/vaccines and treatments per clinic policy
• Prepare equipment and assist providers during examination, testing and treatment
• Maintain stocked supplies and sterilize instruments/exam rooms
• Perform room turnover between cases and at day end
• Assist in arranging referrals and prior authorizations
• Perform other duties as assigned
