Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited CMA program or equivalent.
• LPN licensed with relevant family practice experience preferred.
• Paramedic/EMT certification with clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain vital signs and general health information for patient chart and prepares patients for examination.
• Maintain patient health records up-to-date, especially pain assessment and medication sheet.
• Triages patients and enters accurate data into the EMR with clear spelling and concise notes.
• Prepare and maintain exam rooms and medical equipment for patient visits.
• Assist in exams, procedures, and in the collection of laboratory specimens as ordered.
