Job summary

Middleton Place is seeking a senior-track officer to ensure a safe and welcoming environment at our outpatient behavioral health clinics in LaPlace and Baton Rouge. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to handle situations calmly and effectively. Prior security experience is a must, and successful candidates will undergo regular evaluations with opportunities for advancement based on performance.

The position offers starting compensation of $17.00 per hour and the chance to contribute to a dedicated team focused on patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Able to pass a background investigation and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation to and from the site.
• Able to complete additional training as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Provide patrol and fixed-post coverage with a calm presence.
• Greet and interact respectfully with patients and staff.
• Complete clear and factual electronic reports each shift.
• Observe behavior patterns and share relevant information promptly.
