Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong communication, observational, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; drivers license preferred.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or behavioral health is a plus.
• Certification in crisis intervention or de-escalation techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure the premises to prevent unauthorized access or disturbances.
• Conduct regular patrols of the hospital campus on foot, by vehicle, or other methods.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents within the hospital.
• Assist in de-escalation of volatile situations and support clinical staff with non-physical interventions.
• Operate and monitor surveillance systems and provide detailed incident reports.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and hospital policies.
