Keefe Memorial Hospital in Kentucky is seeking a daytime scheduler to manage patient appointments in hospital and clinic, enter patient data and respond to physician requests.

The role requires a high school diploma, knowledge of scheduling policies, the ability to handle inbound and outbound calls, registration of hospital services, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct. This is a full-time daytime position.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules patients in both the hospital and clinic setting.
• Enters pertinent patient information to ensure that accurate documentation is always kept on patients.
• Tracks and updates all open or cancelled appointments and notifies appropriate staff.
• Receives all inbound calls for departments regarding scheduling.
• Conducts basic assessment of caller to ensure they are connected to the appropriate department.
• Conducts outbound calls to patients regarding any changes in appointments and reminds them of upcoming appointments.
• Performs registration functions for hospital services.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
