Job summary

Trinity Health is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate inpatient and outpatient procedures, tests, and surgeries across multiple facilities. The Scheduler also handles preauthorization, manages clinic schedules to enhance patient experience and productivity, and triages incoming calls appropriately.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting are required.

• Maintains and leverages strong working relationships with patients, providers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a positive patient experience.
• Adapts to various changes and updates scheduling systems promptly.
• Informs patients with appointment details including date, time, location, and preparation instructions; schedules follow-up appointments as directed by physicians.
