Responsibilities include planning and evaluating care plans, monitoring patient status, educating patients and families, delegating to staff, and maintaining vigilance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (state)
• BLS certification required before start date
• 6 months of nursing experience minimum

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans to optimize outcomes
• Monitor, document and communicate patient status; coordinate with other disciplines
• Educate patient and family according to age and condition
• Delegate care to ancillary staff; may precept learners
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
