Job summary

Wellstar Health System is hiring a Registered Nurse for Columbia County Medical Center in Georgia. This full-time role is a day shift (40 hours/week) requiring active RN licensure and BLS certification. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with the patient care team and supporting quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelors in Nursing preferred.
• Active RN license in Georgia or Compact state.
• BLS certification required; Instructor or ARC BLS acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, examines, and evaluates patient conditions and updates the care plan accordingly.
• Delivers nursing care per plan and coordinates with care team for optimal outcomes.
• Maintains thorough documentation of assessments, changes in condition, and care delivered.
• Supports patient- and family-centered care and participates in safety and quality initiatives.
