Job summary

MercyOne Rockford Family Medicine is seeking a Clinic Registered Nurse to deliver compassionate outpatient care focused on safety and evidence-based practice. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while coordinating with physicians, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities include administering medications, providing patient education, and maintaining EMR documentation.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of Iowa; licensure from other states may be required based on location.
• BLS certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training within 3 months of hire.
• Proficient in basic computer skills (Windows, email, MS Office).
• Ability to work with diverse groups in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in outpatient settings and deliver safe, effective, evidence-based care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with other clinical staff and support patient/family education.
• Communicate across healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain EMR documentation with assessments, vitals, treatments and education.
• Participate in meetings, quality improvement and performance improvement projects.
