Mercy Physician Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support physicians and mid-level providers in delivering patient-centered care. You will work in the clinic, handling exams, patient prep, phlebotomy, injections, and medication management, both in person and remotely as needed.

The role requires an Iowa RN license, BLS certification, and completion of mandatory reporter training. Expect daytime and evening shifts with a 20-hour weekly schedule and a sign-on bonus of up

Qualifications

• One year medical office experience preferred.
• RN license Iowa is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Iowa Dependent Adult and Iowa Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter training required.

Responsabilités

• Prepare instruments, supplies and protective devices for exam and testing.
• Room and prepare patient for examination and review histories, allergies, medications and vitals.
• Administer injections and collect specimens as directed by the provider.
• Provide patient education using approved materials regarding health concerns or promotion.
• Document and communicate test results and discharge patient from exam room.
• Manage calls regarding test/lab results and provide treatment instructions per provider.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures including EKGs and nebulizer treatments as directed.
• Maintain sample medication per organizational policy and inventory guidelines.
