This position is responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a medical provider in the clinic setting. Under the direction and supervision of the provider, the clinic RN will carry out any duties delegated and requested by the provider which do not exceed the scope of their practice and licensure by the state.
The RN will handle the higher level of care/patient assessment needs, such as triaging incoming phone calls, unscheduled visits and abnormal test results.
This position may require providing services to one or more age populations, including neonate through geriatric, in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
