Job summary

Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Registered Nurse to oversee daily operations of the device clinic. The role includes patient follow-ups, device interrogations, and coordination with electrophysiology staff and device technicians.

Qualifications include nursing program graduation, and licensure as an RN with BLS/ACLS. Cardiac rhythm evaluation and critical care exposure are preferred. Monday–Friday schedule with variations based on clinic coverage.

• The nurse works closely with the electrophysiology staff as well as the device technicians.

The nurse will perform follow up visits and interrogations of device patients. The nurse works closely with the electrophysiology staff as well as the device technicians.Work Schedule:Monday through Friday; 4-10 hours shifts; Variable work hours according to clinic and Outreach coverage needs. Primary role within clinic setting.Education/Experience:Graduate of a nursing program. Two years of critical care experience is preferred but not required. Telemetry or cardiac rhythm evaluation is preferred.Licensure/Certification:Current licensure of registered nursing or multi-state in the states of South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska. Minnesota licensure will be required with 6 months of employment.Current BLS and ACLS certification at time of employment.
