Job summary

Advanced Occupational Health Services in Washington State is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support patient intake, procedures, and front-desk duties in a fast-paced clinic.

You will greet patients, register and schedule in our EHR, take vitals, assist with minor procedures, and ensure accurate, confidential recordkeeping while maintaining a welcoming, patient-centered environment. BLS certification is required or within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (Washington State).
• BLS certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months.

Primary duties:

Welcome patients warmly and help them feel comfortable.
Get patients registered and schedule their appointments in our electronic health record (EHR).
Answer phone calls, check patients in and keep schedules running smoothly.
Stay on top of faxes, bills and inventory so nothing falls through the cracks.

Secondary duties:

Take vitals, assist with minor procedures, and keep exam rooms cleaned and ready.
Help with blood draws, dressing changes, and sterilizing instruments.
Keep records accurate and confidential while ensuring patients feel cared for every step of the way.
