Job summary

Trinity Health in North Iowa is seeking a Clinic Radiographer Technologist to provide diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the Provider and/or Radiologist. The role will float between Lake Mills and Northwood Clinics, performing procedures per policy.

Full-time Day shifts with competitive wages, day-one benefits, and education assistance are offered. Requires ARRT credential, Iowa permit, BLS, and mandatory abuse reporting training within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Credentialed in radiography by ARRT.
• Current Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification prior to employment or within 60 days.
• Mandatory reporting: Child and Dependent Abuse within 6 months of hire and renewed every 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Completes diagnostic procedures per policies and procedures.

• Utilizes Radnet for radiology orders.
• Reviews and manipulates images using CR System and PACS Web.

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Position Purpose: The Clinic Radiographer Technologist will provide patient care by providing diagnostic radiographs for interpretation by the Provider and/or Radiologist. What you will do:

• Completes all diagnostic procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Maintains quality assurance procedures and all records.
• Evaluates radiographs for quality and acceptability and determines corrective action if necessary.
• Utilizes Radiology Information System (Radnet) for radiology orders.
• Reviews and manipulates images using the CR System (if applicable) and PACS Web.
• Monitors radiology area for safety and utilizes safe radiation practices.
• Maintains required department confidentiality and abides by HIPPA regulations.

Hours: Full-time/ Days

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Credentialed in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
• Must possess a current Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice.
• Must provide proof of Basic Life Support (BLS Healthcare Provider, American Heart Association; or American Red Cross, Professional Rescuer-LIVE class only) via current card prior to employment or within 60 days of hire and maintains current status.
• Completes Mandatory Reporting: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse requirement within 6 months of hire and renews this requirement every 3 years.
