Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a part-time radiologic technologist to perform imaging procedures and assist Radiologists. The role includes CT-guided biopsies and angiographic scans, with patient education and safety at the core.

Responsibilities cover trauma scanning, 3D imaging, and providing pertinent information for interpretation, while adhering to department policies and patient age-specific care requirements.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiography.
• ARRT or NMTCB registered.
• Must have valid IDPH permit to practice.
• Mandatory Reporter.
• BLS.
• ARRT or NMTCB advanced CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire

• Collects history data from patient and provides patient education.
• Provides patient care in accordance with department policy.
• Takes radiographic exposures appropriate to procedure.
• Performs multiple imaging procedures and assists Radiologist with special procedures.

• Assists with CT Guided Biopsies.
• Performs 3D and angiographic scanning procedures.
• Provides radiologist pertinent information for interpretation.
• Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
• Provides age-appropriate care for Neonate to Geriatrics.

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Rotating Shift Description: Position Purpose: Performs multiple imaging procedures in accordance with established parameters. Provides continuity of patient care. Assists Radiologist with procedures. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.

Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age related needs of the patients served on his/her assigned unit, which may include:

Birth-28 days: Neonate 1-18 Months: Infant 18 Mo-3 Yrs: Toddler 3-6 Yrs: Pre-School Aged 6-12 Yrs: School-Aged 12-18 Yrs: Adolescents 18-65 Yrs: Adults 65+ Yrs: Geriatrics

Hours/Schedule: 0.0 FTE; 16 hour per 2-week pay period / Varied

Minimum Qualifications
