Job summary

Emerson Hospital is seeking a Clinic Practice Manager (LPN) to oversee the Urology clinic's daily operations, coordinating administrative tasks and supervising staff. The role reports to the Administrative Director and supports physicians directly in a busy outpatient setting.

The candidate will bring 3–5 years of clinical Urology experience and at least 5 years in management within a medical/outpatient facility, with Massachusetts LPN licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of professional accredited LPN nursing school required.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of clinical experience in Urology, Urogynecology or surgery
• Minimum of 5 years of management experience or relevant experience in a medical/physician's outpatient facility
• Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.

About this role

Reports to Administrative Director and works under the direct supervision of the Physician(s). The Urology Clinic Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Urology clinic by coordinating and supervising clinic and administrative operations.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education
  • Graduate of professional accredited LPN nursing school required.
• Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in Urology, Urogynecology or surgery
  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience or relevant experience in a medical/physician's outpatient facility
• Licensure and/or Certification
  • Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in Massachusetts required.
  • BLS healthcare provider required.
• Skills
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records including EPIC (EMR) and Meditech, outlook, word, excel. Knowledge of office and laboratory procedures required.
  • Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills on the phone and in person
