Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. is seeking an experienced healthcare administrator to oversee a IHMG Clinic location. The role includes hiring, coaching, staff development, budgeting, safety compliance, and driving patient satisfaction and service growth. Travel between system locations is required.

Minimum five years in healthcare leadership, with an associate degree or higher in healthcare/business administration. Strong communication, leadership, and strategic planning skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
• Five (5) years of clinical, physician practice or healthcare related experience.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervisory responsibilities such as hiring, coaching/mentoring, skills development, recognition and rewards, staff productivity, performance management, and succession planning.
• Monitor financial performance and develop plans for improvement; manage department budget.
• Establish and maintain a safe working environment; ensure compliance with safety and infection control guidelines.
• Travel may be expected locally between System locations.
• Actively support and participate in succession planning initiatives; identify high potentials and prepare them for leadership opportunities.
