Job summary

South Central Primary Care seeks a PRN Pharmacist to support weekday operations in a medical office setting in Georgia. You will supervise technicians, ensure safe dispensing, and uphold regulatory compliance in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.

You will collaborate with providers to optimize therapy, educate patients, and maintain accurate records while adhering to FQHC guidelines and HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (BSPharm or PharmD).
• Active Georgia pharmacist license in good standing.
• 1–3 years’ experience in pharmacy management, preferably in FQHC/clinic settings.
• Working knowledge of 340B drug pricing program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager.
• Supervises and mentors pharmacy technicians to maximize performance.
• Ensures accurate preparation, compounding and dispensing of medications.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal laws and FQHC guidelines.
• Maintains patient records, histories, and controlled substance logs; liaises with regulators and suppliers.
• Provides medication therapy management and patient education to optimize outcomes.
