Christus Health's Family Health Center in Woodrow, Texas is seeking a Clinic Patient Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. You will help set up appointments, verify demographics, and support billing and registration using the hospital system.

You will monitor accounts, post charges, handle insurance verifications, answer phones, and assist with scheduling. This role demands clerical accuracy and friendly patient service to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Competenze

• Welcomes patients and visitors and verifies demographics in the hospital system.
• Posts charges and maintains patient accounts with accuracy.
• Schedules appointments and supports basic insurance verification.

Mansioni

• Monitor the debit and credit of client accounts
• Performs posting operation to institutional clients, and reviews all billing transactions related to accounts receivable system
• Resolves client inquires and complaints on institutional billing transactions
• Perform order entry, registration, and other clerical duties
• Perform the training of all clerical staff in the proper registration and printing of patient reports
• Perform other clerical duties as needed which can include insurance verification, recording statistics, registering patients and updating patient accounts
• Also assists with scheduling patient appointments, answers phones and inform patients of their benefits
