Job summary

Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Clinic Manager to oversee operations for one or more medical office practices. You will lead staff, coordinate hiring, onboarding, and staff orientation, and partner with HR on employee relations.

You will manage payroll, AP/AR, budgeting, and ensure daily EHR lists align with clinic goals. The role emphasizes process improvements, scheduling, policy compliance (CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA), and delivering high-quality patient care while upholding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, management, or healthcare field.
• At least 3 years of clinic or healthcare leadership experience.
• Experience with accounts receivable, billing, ICD, and CPT coding.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective communication with staff, providers, and patients.
• Liaise between BMC leadership and clinic providers.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding, and staff orientation for assigned clinics.
• Oversee payroll, accounts payable/receivable in a timely manner.
• Participate in budget preparation and monitor clinic financial performance.
• Ensure CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA compliance; protect PHI.
• Lead process improvements and ensure proper staffing models.
• Ensure scheduling practices and daily EHR work lists are managed.
