Job summary

University of Vermont Health is seeking an Operations Support Specialist to serve as a lead in delivering high-quality patient service and supporting the patient experience at our clinics. The OSS acts as a leader by guiding staff, coordinating activities, and contributing to performance evaluations in a busy healthcare setting.

The role is part of the site-based leadership team and is responsible for all clinic operations, including coordinating work, resolving issues, and driving process

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead by assisting the Practice Supervisor in coordinating work activities, resolving problems, training, orientation, and contributing to performance evaluations of the support staff.
• Make suggestions and participate in process improvements in support of achieving the Medical Group performance expectations.
• Function as part of the site-based leadership team and be responsible for all clinic operations.
