Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Three years nursing experience, including one year supervisory.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Texas and able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Administers quality assurance by monitoring and counseling staff, auditing charts.
• Makes staff assignments; hires and orients new staff; monitors attendance; conducts evaluations.
• Establishes program objectives; develops protocols and appointment systems.
• Generates reports required by county, state and CDC.
• Posts and reviews lab test results; communicates issues.
• Attends and leads departmental and agency meetings.
• Keeps staff informed of health literature and new issues.
• Ensures clinic facilities are properly maintained.
• Plans and participates in research projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
