Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center in Yonkers, NY seeks an Administrative Nursing Manager (ANM) in MMG to oversee direct patient care and provide supervision for one or more clinics. Under the Director of Nursing, the ANM ensures a safe environment and high-quality care, with 24/7 clinical accountability as applicable.

The role coordinates projects, develops evaluation systems, mentors staff, and maintains orientation programs.

Qualifications

• RN license and NY registration.
• 5+ years clinical nursing experience.
• 3+ years progressive supervisory/healthcare management experience.
• Experience with EMR systems.
• Current Infection Control and Basic Life Support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of new projects to improve delivery of care.
• Develop and maintain evaluation system for nursing care and procedures across clinics.
• Provide supervision to nursing personnel and mentor staff across sites.
• Manage assignment of nursing personnel and weekend coverage as designated.
• Participate in QI, Infection Control, Discharge Planning and accreditation activities.
