Job summary

Baptist Health's BH Pediatric Clinic Conway is seeking an LPN to support patient care in a busy pediatric setting. The role involves patient preparation, assisting physicians with procedures, and performing diagnostic tests.

You will administer medications, provide patient education, maintain equipment, and act as liaison with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and other providers to ensure accurate documentation and smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (AR license or multi-state license to include AR)
• Degree from an accredited institution.
• ACLS and BLS may be required, depending/based on the clinic

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures and minor surgeries.
• Assist physicians during procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests and administer medications.
• Provide patient education.
• Maintain clinic equipment and supply inventory.
• Coordinate with hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies, and other providers.
• Ensure complete and accurate medical documentation.

Job description

The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. In addition this role will perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic. The LPN maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, other physician's offices, and patients. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain efficient patient flow and ensures accurate and complete documentation.
