Job summary

Baptist Health in Arkansas is seeking a Clinic LPN to prepare patients and assist physicians with procedures and minor surgeries in a clinic setting.

The role conducts diagnostic tests, administers medications, and provides patient education while coordinating with hospitals, nursing homes, DMEs, pharmacies, HMOs, and other clinics. Excellent documentation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in good standing (AR or multi-state including AR).
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• ACLS and BLS may be required depending on clinic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and assist physician with procedures and minor surgeries.
• Perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic.
• Maintain equipment and act as liaison between physician and external agencies (hospitals, nursing homes, DMEs, pharmacies, HMOs, other clinics).
• Support staff to maintain efficient patient flow and ensure accurate and complete documentation.

Working Hours: Mon-Thur7:45am-4:45pm, Fri 7:45am-4:30pm

Summary:

The Clinic LPN is responsible for patient preparation and assisting the physician with medical procedures and minor surgeries. In addition this role will perform various diagnostic tests, administer medications, and provide patient education in the clinic. The LPN maintains equipment and acts as a liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMO's, other physician's offices, and patients. The nurse supports other medical staff members to maintain efficient patient flow and ensures accurate and complete documentation.

Other information:

• Current LPN license in good standing (either AR license or multi-state license to include AR)
• Degree from an accredited institution.
• ACLS and BLS may be required, depending/based on the clinic

This job will be authorized80.00 hours bi-weekly.
