Overview

Come Join Prime Healthcare's OBGYN Team at Resurrection Hospital!

We are searching for a compassionate and self-motivated Medical Assistant who thrives in a busy work environment and is passionate about providing top quality patient care. This role will be a great fit for someone who has Medical Assistant experience, comfortable with providing injections, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Location: 7447 W. Talcott Ave. Suite 454 Chicago IL. (This position may float to our other clinic in Park Ridge 1x per week)

Work Schedule: FT. 40 hours. with start times between 7:30-9:00 am for an 8-hour schedule. MA will be expected 1 late night per week from 10:30-7:30pm

Team Structure: 5 Physicians / 3 Registered Nurses / 5 Medical Assistants / 3 Patient Service Reps

Responsibilities

This Position isresponsible for clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, checking vitals, injections and phlebotomy as needed. This position conveys a positive image of the office and provides information as needed to ensure patients are aware of all benefits of the office.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. High School Diploma or Equivalent or relevant experience required for new hires effective April 2014.

2. Medical Assistant Certification, preferred.

3. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

4. Minimum one year work experience in public contact job.

5. Work experience in health care preferred.
