We are seeking a Clinic Manager (CM) to lead our clinic team. The CM will oversee all clinic operations, staff development, and patient care delivery, ensuring the highest standards of service and profitability. This exempt role integrates leadership, sales, and metabolic health expertise to foster a high-performance environment that drives patient success and clinic growth. The CM will directly supervise the Health Transformation Specialist and Medical Provider Assistant. The Clinic Manager will work cross-functionally with the Medical Provider as part of a dyad in-clinic leadership team, ensuring alignment between clinical care and operational excellence.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead all clinic operations, including staff management, patient care, sales performance, and operational efficiency.
- Build personal relationships with patients and provide tailored guidance, ensuring exceptional patient experiences and outcomes.
- Perform patient consultations, educating them on the variety of programs offered and assisting in selecting the right plan.
- Oversee metabolic health evaluations using diagnostics such as body composition analysis, visceral fat levels, and metabolic risk assessments.
- Develop and implement patient acquisition strategies to drive clinic revenue, ensuring all leads are followed up and appointments are set.
- Monitor and support the Options Health Panel (OHP) process to track metabolic health markers such as blood glucose, lipid levels, and insulin resistance.
- Educate patients on metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, and risk factors for metabolic syndrome, incorporating insights from 12-Month Health Transformation (12MHT) training.
- Follow up on all leads, set appointments, and ensure final disposition on each potential patient inquiry.
- Assist in generating new patient leads by building relationships with outside referral resources.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA protocols and maintain a safe, professional clinic environment.
- Own the clinic P&L, driving new patient acquisition, retention, and satisfaction to grow revenue while managing expenses.
- Hire, coach, and develop clinic staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Train and mentor the Health Transformation Specialist and other team members in patient consultations, metabolic health education, and program sales.
- Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure clinic goals are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with the Medical Provider to align patient care strategies with operational goals, ensuring seamless integration of clinical services and business practices.
- Administer and train patients on self-administration of subcutaneous and intramuscular injections (training provided).
- Ensure the clinic's compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, and standards.
- Perform other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.
- This role may require support across various clinic locations within the market to best meet the needs of our patients.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Sales-oriented with a focus on meeting goals and KPIs.
- Knowledge of metabolic health, including insulin resistance, metabolic syndrome, and cardiometabolic risk factors.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Supervisory responsibilities
- Direct supervision of the Health Transformation Specialist and other clinic staff.
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and evaluating staff performance.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
- Must have weekend availability.
- This role requires prolonged periods of standing and sitting, including working at a computer for extended durations.
- Frequent direct patient interaction, requiring excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to engage with diverse patient populations in a clinical setting.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Five years in a management role within weight loss, retail, medical spa, or related industry.
- Three years of experience in a sales role, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding quotas.
- Three years of inventory and budget management.
- Three years of people management experience, including setting and reaching team goals.
- Two years of interviewing and selection experience.
