Job summary

Pride Health is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a Primary Care role in Orlando, FL. The position is a local contract for 13 weeks, with a schedule of Monday through Friday 8am-5pm and a pay range of $30-$33 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include patient triage, basic wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, and EMR documentation. The ideal candidate has an active LPN license, BLS, and at least 1 year of outpatient experience.

Qualifications

• LPN license required for primary care setting.
• BLS certification required or active.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in outpatient/primary care.

Duties

• Provide nursing support in a busy primary care clinic
• Patient triage, assessment of patient concerns, basic wound care, IV therapy, medication administration as appropriate, and follow-up on patient needs.
• Assist providers with clinical care and support the Medical Assistant team as needed.
• Must be comfortable communicating with patients, documenting accurately in the EMR, prioritizing clinical concerns, and working independently
