Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare's Morris Medical Center in Morris, MN is hiring licensed practical nurses (LPN) and registered nurses (RN) to provide patient-centered nursing care based on the nursing process. The role involves coordinating care, communicating with patients, families, and providers, and ensuring safe, compassionate service in clinic settings.

The LPN focuses on delegated tasks under supervision, while the RN may supervise LPNs, aides, clerks, and students, and collaborate with providers

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR certification upon hire or must be obtained within six months.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites.
• Current Minnesota LPN Licensure
• CPR Certificate
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients using the nursing process to prescribe, delegate and coordinate care.
• Communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, and providers.
• The RN delegates and supervises nursing care consistent with professional standards and state guidelines.
• Supervise LPNs, nursing assistants, clerks, and students as assigned.
