Job summary

Lake Region Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Morris Medical Center in Morris, MN. The LPN delivers patient-centered care under supervision of a RN or provider, communicating effectively with patients and the care team.

The position emphasizes nursing practice within state regulations, collaboration, and a commitment to safety and quality patient care. 80 hours biweekly, with day shifts Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform within the nursing scope of practice.
• Current Healthcare Provider level CPR certification upon hire or within six months.
• Successful completion of the pre-employment health screening.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work at the clinic site as scheduled, including travel to other clinic sites.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care support as delegated by a Provider or Registered Nurse (RN).
• Communicates with patients, co-workers, and providers to coordinate care.
• Demonstrates knowledge of LRHC resources to support comprehensive patient care.
• Performs nursing care under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, or provider, consistent with the LPN scope of practice defined by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
