Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program with IV therapy course.

• American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists provider with examinations and procedures within license scope.
• Administers medications (oral, IM, SC) as ordered.
• Performs point-of-care testing and collects specimens for labs.
• Triages phone calls and communicates results to patients.
• Educates patients on care plans and MyChart benefits.
• Maintains patient safety, infection prevention, and proper handoffs.
