Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited LPN program and approved IV therapy course.
• Current LPN license in Missouri; American Heart Association BLS required.
• Nursing or health care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows clinic policy to ensure patient safety and infection control.
• Administers medications (oral, IM, SC) as ordered.
• Assists providers with procedures and maintains sterile fields.
• Assists with examinations within license scope.
• Phone triage and relays test results to patients.
• Documents chief complaint/visit reason and vitals.
• Initiates and updates patient medication lists.
• Performs point-of-care lab testing and specimen collection.
• Educates patients on MyChart and its benefits.
• Trains LPNs and MAs in clinic roles.
