Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR is seeking a Clinic LPN to provide patient-centered care in our physician clinics. You’ll room patients, take histories, measure vitals, administer injections, and support minor procedures, while keeping clinic flow smooth.

You’ll document thoroughly in the EHR, coordinate referrals, and assist with procedures like EKG and spirometry as per policy. A valid Arkansas LPN license and BLS are required; clinic experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved PN program.
• Arkansas LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Room patients; obtain histories and vital signs; prep for exams and procedures.
• Administer injections/medications; dress simple wounds; remove staples/sutures per competency.
• Coordinate referrals, pharmacy calls, and prior authorizations; manage medication refills per protocol.
• Assist with EKG and spirometry/PFT per policy; maintain clean, stocked rooms.
• Provide patient education and post-visit follow-up calls; document thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
