Job summary

Intune Physical Therapy seeks a Clinic Director to lead a patient-centered practice across the Austin and Houston markets, shaping clinical excellence and operational efficiency while supporting clinicians and staff and cultivating strong patient relationships and outcomes.

You will oversee staff, budgets, physician relationships, and community outreach, mentor new graduates, and drive a culture of high-quality care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy or CAPTE-accredited PT degree with eligibility to obtain licensure.
• Unrestricted licensure to practice in the employment state or eligibility to obtain.
• 3+ years of physical therapy experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Residency training completed or in progress preferred.
• Board certification as a Clinical Specialist preferred.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, reimbursement models, and compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proven leadership ability.
• Solid business sense and financial management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinic staff including PTs, assistants, and admin personnel.
• Approve timecards and manage vacation requests and time off.
• Ensure staff compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Lead team meetings to discuss PLOCs and implement improvements.
• Mentor new graduates and less-experienced therapists.
• Monitor clinic performance; conduct peer reviews; coordinate with regional directors.
• Ensure efficient clinic operations while maintaining patient focus and goals.
• Prepare and monitor budgets; oversee equipment purchases and facility maintenance.
• Develop relationships with physicians to grow patient referrals.
• Foster a positive team culture through servant leadership and engagement.
• Participate in community outreach and events to support growth.
