Job summary

Hawkeye Area Community Action Program (HACAP) is seeking an Alliance Clinic Dietitian or Nurse for a full-time role in Cedar Rapids, IA. The position involves delivering nutrition education for the WIC and Maternal Child Health programs and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Dietetics/Nutrition with RD/RDN (or LD) licensure, or an Associate's in Nursing with Iowa RN licensure. The role requires scheduling flexibility and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics/Nutrition; RD/RDN or LD license required.
• RN with Iowa license also eligible.
• Ability to communicate with diverse low-income populations.
• Complete required trainings (Bloodborne Pathogen, Child Abuse Reporter) on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Conduct nutrition education for WIC & Maternal Child Health programs.
• Assess nutritional risks and provide nutrition services to the target community.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver comprehensive nutrition services.
