Job summary

El Centro Family Health in New Mexico is seeking a dedicated Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and staff. Under supervision, you will perform routine janitorial tasks, basic repairs, and ensure cleanliness of offices, clinics, and common areas.

You will sanitize bathrooms and kitchens, restock supplies, manage trash, and assist with setup for meetings and events while following safety guidelines and policies to protect patients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in custodial work.

Responsibilities

• Sweep and vacuum public rooms, offices, and training rooms; mop areas as needed.
• Disinfect bathrooms, kitchens, and public areas.
• Disinfect sinks, empty trash, and clean chairs.
• Dust and disinfect filing cabinets, counters and desktops as requested.
• Maintain lighting and perform basic plumbing tasks like unclogging sinks and commodes.
• Lock/unlock buildings and ensure doors and lights are secured when not in use.
• Clear snow, ice, and debris from sidewalks and stairs within 16 feet of buildings.
